I have been building since 1978 and with the majority of our work in custom home construction and renovation. We pride ourselves in establishing a good relationship with our clients to insure that their ideas and goals are met. Most people don't realize the complexity of a new home nor the amount of time it takes to develop a project. Being able to communicate and feel comfortable with the builder of your dreams is a must.
We are proud of the fact that most of our work is by referrals, and our past clients have welcomed all inquiries from prospective clients. Architectural plans are not always needed, depending on the scope of the project, for we have built many on draftsman prints or have designed smaller projects for the homeowner in an effort to save some of the upfront costs.
We have remained a small company to insure quality is never compromised and keep most of the work 'in house' from the framing to finish. A project can be 'turnkey' or the homeowner can elect to do certain phases of the project themselves.
In the last two years, we have also branched into the historical restoration field with the emphasis on exterior restoration. We have several excellent woodworkers and mills in New England that custom mill our projects, when required, in virtually any wood needed. A certain understanding and pride in past craftsmanship and design is required in this fascinating field.
